Fruitport Township Motorcycle-Truck Accident

Our Michigan motorcycle accident attorneys are reporting a fatal Fruitport Township motorcycle accident on E. Broadway Avenue near S. Quarterline Road that involved a pickup truck. The motorcycle-truck accident took place on June 28th around 6:30 p.m. According to police, a motorcyclist was riding his bike when he collided with a pickup truck. The motorcyclist was killed due to the accident.

I am very sorry to hear about this accident. My condolences go out to the family of the deceased victim.

Our Michigan motorcycle accident attorneys advise victims of their legal rights. If the motorcycle crash did not involve contact with another motor vehicle, a legal claim can not be made. However, since the bike accident did involve another motor vehicle, the motorcyclist may be able to make a claim for Survivor Loss Benefits. This can include payment of funeral expenses, lost wages, and loss of other services.

Also, the family members of the deceased may have a claim for a Michigan wrongful death lawsuit against the other driver if police determine was negligent. At the very least, they should contact the best possible lawyer to look into these possibilities
